    I never served with the 6th motor t overseas but I have some fond memories of David. We had spent a few weeks in California together and just knowing him for a short while made a lasting impact on me. He was a kind respectable and at the same time hard Marine. I can remember him falling asleep on my shoulder on the shuttle to Vegas. I also remember him being ready to go when someone gave him a hard time in the motor pool. Some people are just all heart.
